We're a family-run business spanning three generations, and we bring that same family mindset to our customers and team. Our factory is equipped with advanced machinery and ample storage to ensure quick turnaround times and consistent quality. Our mobile van service adds another layer of convenience, delivering fast, on-site repairs when and where they’re needed most.

JAMES RUTTER
Operations Director
As Operations Director, James plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day activities. With a hands-on approach and a focus on continuous improvement, he's dedicated to optimising processes and delivering results. James is known for his practical mindset and commitment to operational excellence, making him a vital part of the leadership team.
CRAIG LONGSTAFF
Workshop Manager
Craig joined Spectrum in 1999 and has worked his way through the ranks to become Workshop Manager. His hands-on experience and deep understanding of workshop operations make him a natural leader on the ground. Known for his practical approach and dedication to quality, Craig plays a key role in ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently from start to finish.
Val
Office Manager
Val joined Spectrum in 2024 and quickly became an integral part of the team. As Office Manager, she keeps the day-to-day operations running smoothly, supporting both staff and clients with efficiency and a can-do attitude. Val's organisational skills and approachable manner help create a positive and productive office environment.
Alex Ratcliffe
Finance Manager
Alex has been with Spectrum since 1994, bringing a wealth of experience and a meticulous eye for detail to the Finance team. As Finance Manager, she oversees all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic insight. Her long-standing commitment and deep understanding of the business make her a trusted and valued member of the team.
ANDY MORRIS
Mobile Unit Technician
Andy came on board in 2024 as a Mobile Unit Technician, bringing energy and reliability to the field team. He plays a key role in delivering on-site services with professionalism and attention to detail. Andy's hands-on approach and commitment to getting the job done make him an asset out on the road.

Always by Craig’s side, Buddy is the unofficial assistantand all-around good boy in the workshop. With a calm presence and a keen eye(and nose) for activity, he keeps morale high and spirits lifted. Whether supervising tools or just soaking up the action, Buddy is a beloved part of the Spectrum team.
Tug
Assistant to the Managing Director
Tug may not sign the paperwork, but he’s always close by tooffer support, supervision and the occasional tail wag. As Assistant to the Managing Director, he takes his duties seriously—whether that’s keeping spiritsup during meetings or ensuring regular walk breaks are enforced. Loyal, observant and undeniably charming, Tug is a valued member of the leadership team.
