QUALITY SYSTEM HISTORY

As of 6th May 2008 Spectrum Hose can proudly announce our certification to the Environmental Management System ISO 14001:2004. We are justly proud of this achievement – it wasn’t easy.

This is in addition to our certification to the Quality Management System ISO 9001:2000. (Spectrum Hose Ltd first gained registration to BS5750 part 2 in 1992 which was converted to BS EN 9002:1994 in 1994 and then to BS EN ISO 9000:2000 in 2000.)

ISO 14001:2004 is not just an easy option to jump on the green bandwagon – it is a detailed and structured system which ensures that all aspects that go to provide the products and services, for which Spectrum Hose is renowned are subject to intense scrutiny.

Energy consumption, waste disposal, recycling, pollutants, contaminants are all strictly monitored and controlled. A programme of continual improvement of these aspects ensures we don’t rest on our laurels.

This means that you, the Customer, have the peace of mind that the products and services you purchase from Spectrum Hose has been produced causing as little Environmental impact as possible.
